Record Clearance Criminal Defense

Record Clearance: Record clearances are available in felony and misdemeanor matters, assuming you successfully complete probation and you are not sent to prison on a felony. It is necessary to serve any sentence, pay all fines, attend all required classes or treatment, and to be successfully terminated from probation before you have a right to a record clearance.

Under some circumstances, I have successfully either arranged at the time of the plea agreement, or petitioned the court mid-probation for an early termination of probation and record clearance. I have been been able to have probation modified for an early termination in situations where the defendant has done well on probation, has an insignificant criminal record, and needs to apply for a job, license, or move out of state, where probation will interfere with his chances of success.
